Chicken Dinner #2

Good morning,

The second chicken dinner is underway.  We set a cutoff date of Wed Oct 30th.  This is when all meals need to be sold and money/unsold tickets need to be handed in.  This is earlier than times past.  But there are still 3 weeks to get the tickets sold.  We moved the date up for logistical/administrative reasons.

Thank you for your flexibility.

Sept 18th Chicken Dinner

Hey folks,

We had our first chicken dinner tonight.  We sold a whopping 1,935 meals!  Great job kids!

The High School leaders are Kirsten Bunting and Ali Pinkham who sold 21 meals each.  The Junior High leader is Wade Knobloch who sold 79 meals for the first chicken dinner!

I want to thank all of the volunteers at both locations for their help.  We couldn't do it without you.

Thank you all.

Corn Fest and Chicken Dinners

Good morning folks.

I hope you are all enjoying the Corn Fest.  The kids did a fantastic job on Thursday!  We also had a great turnout last night to give Mr. Shaffer a bath at the dunk tank.  Thank you for all of your participation and thank you for all the parents and kids that helped with the tank!

Just wanted to give a friendly reminder that the first Chicken Dinner money is due this coming Wednesday Sept 11th.  It can be turned in to Mr. Shaffer in El Paso or Mrs. Schlipf in Gridley.
